I AM the Beloved!
Song of Solomon 2:4:

‘Take me away with you – let us hurry! Let the King bring me into His chambers.’
February is ‘heart’ month and over the past week the Holy Spirit has been prompting me to write on the ‘heart’. As I sat at my desk today, February 14th, I opened a drawer and found my journal which has the I AM revelations of God. It was not my intention to open or even to look for this journal however there it was, for some ‘strange reason’ lying on top of everything in the drawer when I have not even written in it or read it for many months. As I noted it there, I felt prompted to open it, as I read through a few of the entries my spirit was quickened and encouraged to read what I had written in August 2004 on “I AM the Beloved!”. It is my prayer that your spirit will also be quickened and encouraged as you read some of the excerpts.
Be Blessed,
Deborah

August 8th, 2004 (excerpts):
For some time, I have been hearing – seeing words as synonyms; sounding the same and yet hearing entirely different meanings and contexts. I believe God reveals himself in many ways and it is the seeking heart that begins to find him in the hidden places – the hidden meanings which are available for those who will seek Him in such a way. It is not a seeking that begins with the mind. It is a seeking that starts first with the heart and eventually touches and washes the mind of the seeking believer, transforming what would otherwise be an intellectually understood belief of the mind to one of radical, unprecedented belief and insight of the seeking heart.

As I look and see today, the verses in the Song of Songs which reflect ‘the Beloved’ and I acknowledge the King; I am delighted in Him, in His faithfulness, His consistency and His love in revealing Himself to me. While journaling about 10 days ago I had written ‘let the King bring me into His chambers. The heart of God is Jesus’ On one side of this I had drawn a picture of a human heart with its chambers with “markings” on the heart; above and around this diagram I had written ‘You are Healed by His stripes’.

God truly wants to show His heart which is fully represented through the life of Jesus. I believe that Jesus is the ‘heart of God’. He is the heart of love. When we enter into the life of Christ, we enter into His heart, which is Christ encompassed in the heart of God. It is such a mystery and yet such a deep revelation that it goes beyond the ability to express it in word but I will do my best in Him.

You see, what I am seeing and hearing is not just having the King, the Beloved, the Lord bring me into His chambers – the place of intimacy of the bed chambers – rather it is the place of deepest longing, of deepest love – into His heart – into the chambers of His heart.

It is not enough for me to even think of just being in a room with Him – it must be in a place inside of him. So deep and so intimate that nothing but love can find me there. It is a place that I can explore the inner recesses of His heart, where I can be propelled further and further into a heart of love, of insight, and of understanding. (Note: Feb 14/07: and it will be in the beating of His heart that I am propelled forward to take action.)

The words of a song by Heather Clarke come to mind and my spirit has been singing this for the past month, expressing this inner desire for entry into the heart of God.
“I want to go deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper with you. I can’t stand this separation any longer. I want to go deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper with you.”

I cannot stand this separation any longer. I yearn to be in the place of the heart of God, which is in the life of Christ.

God is wanting to give a heart transplant – giving His heart, which is Christ, in exchange for the wickedness of deceitful hearts.

God is unveiling His heart and that which has been hidden in Him throughout the ages. (Col. 1:25-27) For in this ‘I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word’, (which is Christ), ‘in it’s fullness – the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known’, (that is to reveal), ‘the glorious riches of this mystery which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory.’

It is time to open our hope chests. It is time to lean on the breast of Jesus as John did so that we might hear (and feel) the very beating of His heart; so that we may be the very beat of His heart. I can’t stand this separation any longer!!! I want to go deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper with you!

Thank you Jesus son of God, our Beloved! for your glory, your honour, your holiness which you so willing gave for us. Thank you Holy Spirit of God for your revelation. Thank you God the Father of all things!

Scripture reflections:
Song of Solomon (Song of Songs) 2:4
John 17:20-22

End of excerpts.

Over the next few days I will begin to capture and write what I believe the Lord has been directing me to on the ‘heart’ and will post this writing to the website.
