Restoration of the Priesthood
I believe the Lord is restoring the priesthood. It was the Levites, out of all of God's chosen people, who were called to separate and consecrate themselves in complete dedication and service to the Lord. There is a birthing and a calling forward of the Nazrites to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
The Lord is presently birthing this priesthood unto the call for holiness within the church. He is consecrating his vessels. All of the church is called to worship, all of the church is called to be holy because He is Holy but this called out priesthood have a call to serve the church as well as the Lord in the preparation and the consecration.
We have entered into a season which is going to see the raising up of this priesthood. The Lord is calling His chosen priests to be set apart and Holy. This priesthood now called out, is being prepared and made ready to restore worship in the House (Church) of the Lord.
There is a new call to holiness, a new call to preparation and a new call to consecration which these priests will bring.
As it was in the old testament so it will be in the new. The priests will not belong to any camp but will firmly stand before the Lord. They will raise up the call to bring holiness and consecration in living worship; a call to remove sin/obstacles from the camp even as the Levites had removed the offal and such from the camp from the sacrifices, they will remove the impurity from the house of God; they will teach how to live consecrated lives; they will once again bring forth acceptable sacrifices before the Lord. That no blemished sacrifices will come before the Lord. They will serve before the Lord and they will restore His people to Him.
A Warning
There is a warning which comes with this word in that it is important to know that we cannot choose ourselves because that is the essence of the priesthood, the Lord is their portion, they cannot choose themselves, they must choose Him. He is choosing them. It is a paradox, we are all called to be a living priesthood and yet he is raising up His priesthood. It is the Lord that is choosing who will serve Him in this capacity; it is the Lord who is consecrating their hearts. It is as though the Lord is reaching down and grabbing them by their hair and separating them out and saying 'come over here now, be holy, be set apart'. The call to serve is not a religious structure. These priests are to serve the Lord wherever they are. They are to be holy, set apart unto the Lord. We are going to see a shift in what service looks like in that it will not be by affiliation with one group or another.
Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord!
