The Lord is about to bring His Sword of Truth to those who are engaged in the teachings of Balaam and the Nicolaitans.
The teachings of Balaam have caused God's people to stumble and fall; they have taught God's people to worship and idolize man by elevating what man speaks over the truth of God. Just as Balaam taught the Midianites to have the women entice the sons of Israel to participate in worship to idols and other gods, so have the Balaam's of today done to the people of God. The people have become unable to distinguish between what is right and true before God as they have "gotten into bed" with man. This has been done as those today, who are like Balaam, have heard/received a word from the Lord, have insisted on taking it out over His original counsel and have delivered it. Yet these Balaam's have taken the word of truth and have used it to meet their own ends in order to profit themselves. They have brought and manipulated truth, and have made it work for them causing the sons of God to prostitute themselves to other gods, these gods being man and man's ideas of himself. They have caused the truth of God to work for them rather than submitting to the truth of God. Just as Balaam was not called for by God, in that he was called for and sent by man, so too, the Balaam's of today are called for and paid by man. While they like Balaam, can hear God, they are influenced by other counsel - both spiritual and fleshly, they have taken truth and prostituted it to the leaders of the people by making the truth acceptable in their eyes and mouths. (Note: Balaam's sin came in his persistence to going out over the warning and the counsel of the Lord to not go and was furthered by his (Balaam's) counsel to the Midianites in how to bring about the downfall of the Israelites by having them prostitute themselves to other god's.) This has caused many to come seeking after man and his words rather than God and the truth of His words which divides and separates even to the marrow.
Just as the sword killed Balaam when the Lord called the Israelites along with Phinehas the priest to war, so in this day the Lord is going to use His Sword of Truth along with His chosen priests, to take out the practices of divination from amongst his people and the idolization of the image of man. No longer will His people worship man's image nor will they prostitute themselves to other gods or idols for He will cause them to worship Him by His truth.
You will see the servants, (the donkeys), standing firm in the face of beatings as they recognize the true messenger of God standing in front of them.
You will see the Sword of Truth coming to destroy the works of the Nicolaitans. These are those who have built and fashioned works for themselves, for those who have presented themselves as apostles but are not and yet have attempted to build a new and different foundation over the very foundation of Jesus Christ and His apostles.
The Sword of Truth is coming to establish true worship and humility.
A new authority will be given to those who, like Phinehas, have stood firm in the sight of all and have rightly handled the Sword of Truth.
Let us each examine ourselves before the Lord and if necessary to repent before Him. To those who overcome these practices the Lord will acquit them, giving them a new authority which man does not know or recognize. Only the receiver will know this authority and the name by which it comes - with this will come heavenly revelation (truth).
