Writings are simply that - writings! I felt I was to call them "writings". It was only after I shared this with a gentleman who has walked with the Lord for many years that he told me a writing is simply that such as a psalm.
Psalm 47:7 tells us to "Sing praises with a skillful psalm". Here the word psalm literally means a "didactic poem", which is instructional or portraying knowledge or insight. Perhaps this may be what some of these writings are.
The writings are inspirational and profound writings which have been inspired and given by the Holy Spirit. Whatever they are, I pray they will be a source of inspiration for you.
